Founded in 2015, Independent Environmental Consultants (IEC) is an environmental consulting company, providing expertise in environmental science, engineering and nuclear projects to clients in Ontario, Canada and worldwide. All of the founding affiliates have 25 to 40 years’ experience working in consulting or industry and held senior-level management roles. Many of our affiliates share previous working relationships on multiple projects.

Our objectives are to provide clients with high-level consulting and strategic advice on new and on-going environmental issues, within the local, regional and national regulatory framework, and to advise industry, governments and citizens in the mitigation and prevention of future accidents or critical events.

We pride ourselves in our credibility and integrity. By using an unbiased approach in our technical assessments and strategic advice, IEC addresses the needs of the clients to enhance their planning and decision-making.
