About Us

IEC started up in October 2015 as an independent employee-owned organization with its main office located in Markham, Ontario. We are a group of highly recognized senior affiliates who have worked together over many years on a wide variety of local, national and international projects, and bring together an extensive set of environmental and engineering skills. All have had senior-level positions in industry or environmental consulting. Examples of some of these positions include the following:

• Director, Fisheries and Oceans Canada;
• Director, Canadian Environmental Assessment Agency;
• CEO, Environmental Management Authority, Trinidad and Tobago;
• Vice President, Nuclear Fuel Fabrication Facility; and
• President, Environmental Consulting Firm.

These senior affiliates are being supported by a group of highly skilled junior and intermediate personnel.

IEC’s objective is to make the collective experience of the senior affiliates available to those who need it. This will be accomplished by offering environmental consulting services, strategic advice and peer review services to Governments (federal/ provincial/ municipal), Industry, NGOs/ Special Interest Groups, First Nations, Lawyers, Engineering/Environmental Consulting Companies, International Financial Institutions and Overseas Governments.

We pride ourselves in our credibility and integrity. By using an unbiased approach in our work for clients, IEC will appropriately address their needs in a timely manner and enhance their planning and decision-making requirements.
